TS LAWCET 2026 results: Osmania University will declare the TS LAWCET 2026 results and final answer keys on June 5, 2026, on behalf of TGCHE. The entrance exam for 3-year LLB, 5-year integrated LLB, and LLM courses was conducted on May 18 in multiple sessions. Results will be issued out of 120 marks, with general-category candidates requiring at least 42 marks to qualify. Candidates can download rank cards online using their registration details. CBSE thwarts 3.8 million-packet cyberattack as re-evaluation portal crosses 56,000 applications

CBSE said it successfully blocked a 3.8 million-packet denial-of-service (DoS) cyberattack targeting its verification and re-evaluation portal while maintaining uninterrupted services for students. Despite the attempted disruption, the portal processed over 56,000 applications for answer-book verification and re-evaluation. The Board said technical teams are enhancing performance and security. Partner banks, including SBI, Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank and Canara Bank, processed thousands of payment transactions as CBSE’s digital systems continue to face public scrutiny.

CBSE opens Class 12 re-evaluation portal after delay, applications accepted till June 6: Direct link

From academia to animal welfare: How Assam’s Prapti Foundation emerged as a force against dog trafficking and cruelty

The Prapti Foundation, led by Sarupathar College principal Prapti Thakur, has emerged as a prominent grassroots animal welfare organisation in Assam. Based in Golaghat district, it has rescued and supported more than 1,500 animals through medical care, rehabilitation, feeding drives and awareness campaigns. Its shelter, Sarameya Kutir in Rangajan, has rehabilitated 163 rescued dogs. The foundation also works closely with authorities to combat animal cruelty and illegal dog trafficking across the region.
