Sony India feels the heat from Chinese cos, cuts over 120 jobs

Sony India has axed about a seventh of its local workforce, totalling more than 120 jobs across functions, as the Japanese electronics major struggles to sell its pricier television sets in a market where cheaper Chinese alternatives are increasingly dominating retail shelves amid an overall slowdown in TV sales.
