Karnataka Cabinet Allocates Rs 2,500 Crore to Upgrade Higher Education Institutions

Karnataka's cabinet approved a Rs 2,500 crore investment to enhance government higher education institutions, securing a Rs 1,750 crore loan from the World Bank. This four-year initiative aims to elevate educational standards. Additionally, the cabinet addressed minority institution recognition rules and greenlit Bengaluru Metro's Phase-3A, a 36.59 km extension from Sarjapur to Hebbal, costing Rs 28,405 crore.
