As Harvard and Yale consider a cap on 'A' grades, Princeton holds steady

Princeton University will not alter its grading framework despite a significant rise in top marks, with 66.7% of grades in the A range during the 2024-2025 academic year. Dean Michael Gordin stated that discussions at peer institutions are for them to manage. The university previously rescinded grade caps in 2014 due to student stress and competition.
