Schools up to Class 12 in Bageshwar district will remain closed today, August 10. This decision follows a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall for the region. The India Meteorological Department issued an orange alert for four districts including Bageshwar. Other districts in Uttarakhand are under a yellow alert due to weather forecasts.
